George W. Johnston

Biography: Represented Shelby County in the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky for two terms and in the Senate of the Commonwealth of Kentucky for one. Delegate from Shelby County to the 1849 Kentucky constitutional convention. Moved to Louisville in 1851. Judge of the Louisville City Court from 1854 to 1865. Elected Circuit Judge of the Seventh Judicial District of Kentucky in August 1865.
