Webster County, Kentucky, laborer and soldier. Kentucky native. Son of Joseph Veach and Eliza Veach. Resident of Franklin County, Kentucky, in 1850. Laborer in Webster County in 1860. Served in the 8th Kentucky Mounted Infantry (C.S.A.) as a private from October 9, 1862 to July 22, 1863. Captured at Fort Donelson on February 16, 1862. Died of disease while in service on July 22, 1863.
