Fall Temple in Franklin County, Kentucky, on October 4, 1853. Married to Hannah Blandina Broadhead Temple on November 19, 1857. Father of Mary C. Temple, Blanche Temple, and Annie Temple. Cashier of the Farmers' Bank of Kentucky from 1850 to 1867. Owned five enslaved persons in Frankfort in 1860. President of the Military Board of Kentucky from September 1861 and August 1862.
