At the January Term of the Court of Common Pleas of Hamilton County, in separate session thereof, begun and held at the Court House in the City of Cincinnati, within and for the County of Hamilton and State of Ohio, on the 11th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five.

vs } Indictment for Burglary &c
James Wilson

This day came the Prosecuting Attorney in behalf of the State of Ohio, and the defendant James Wilson being brought into Court in custody of the Sheriff, also came a Jury who were duly empannelled, sworn and affirmed to well and truly try the issue found herein, viz

testimony closed.

The Jury after hearing the testimony of witnesses, argument of Counsel and charge of the Court retired in custody of the Sheriff to consult upon their verdict, And now come the Jury with their written verdict and say, "We the Jury in the issue joined find the defendant James Wilson Guilty in the First and second Counts as charged in the Indictment and Not Guilty in the Third Count, and so we say all, (signed) Jas. E. Silver Foreman,

Thereupon Court order said defendant into the custody of the sheriff to be confined in the Jail of Hamilton County until legally discharged

And afterward to wit, upon the 31st day of January in the Term and year aforesaid. "Came the Prosecurting Attorney in behalf of the State of Ohio and the defendant James Wilson being brought into Court in custody of the sheriff, and en-
quired of if he have anything to say why the Court should not pronounce sentence upon him, says nothing but what he heretofore hath said, And the Court being fully advised in the premises. It is considered and adjudged by the Court that the defendant James Wilson be imprisoned in the Penitentiary of this State and kept at hard labor for the time of Five years, that he pay the costs of this prosecution and execution is awarded therefor.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affxed the Seal of our said Court at Cincinnati this 27th day of March A. D. 1865
