Louisville, Kentucky, farmer and soldier. Indiana native. Son of Eliza Adair. Married to Margaret Epley Adair. Father of Laura Adair. Farmer in Clark County, Indiana, in 1850. Served in Avery's Home Guards as first lieutenant in Louisville, Kentucky, from September 21, 1861 to October 1, 1861. Sued for bastardy by Bridget Cochran in Jefferson County Court in 1865.
