Limestone County, Texas, attorney and soldier. Barren County, Kentucky, native. Son of Thomas Jefferson Hall and Sarah Hall. Married to Corine Vansickles in Jefferson County, Kentucky, on December 21, 1864. Father of William Hall. Resident of Limestone County, Texas, in 1850. Admitted to the bar in Robinson County, Texas, in October 1859. Attorney in Limestone County in 1860. Served in the 11th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a first lieutenant from December 19, 1863, to May 15, 1865.
