Served in the 11th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a captain from September 22, 1862 to June 14, 1864. Captured in Monroe County, Tennessee, on October 20, 1863. Discharged on account of disability on June 14, 1864.
