Elizabethtown, Kentucky attorney and soldier. Ohio native. Son of Joseph McCulloch and Nancy McCulloch. Farmer in Holmes County, Ohio, in 1850. Attorney in Hardin County, Kentucky, in 1860. Served in the 2nd Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a captain from October 3, 1861 to December 31, 1862. Killed in action at the Battle of Stone's River on December 31, 1862.
