Ohio County, Indiana, resident, printer, and soldier. Indiana native. Son of David G. Rabb and Margaret Rabb. Resident of Ohio County, Indiana, in 1850. Printer in Ohio County in 1860. Served in the 7th Indiana Regiment Volunteer Infantry (U.S.A.) as a captain from April 25, 1861 to August 1861. Served in the 2nd Battery Indiana Light Artillery (U.S.A.) as a captain from October 10, 1862 to January 21, 1864. Served in the 2nd Missouri Light Artillery (U.S.A.) as a major from January 21, 1864, to August 25, 1865.
