Pulaski County, Kentucky, physician and surgeon. Kentucky native. Married to Margaret Bradley Scott in Pulaski County, Kentucky, on December 9, 1858. Father of John Dowell Scott and Anne C. Scott. Physician in Pulaski County in 1860. Served in the 32nd Kentucky Volunteer Infantry (U.S.A.) as a surgeon from February 17, 1863, to August 12, 1863.
