Adair County, Kentucky, resident and soldier. Adair County, Kentucky, native. Son of James Pike and Ann Pike. Married to Mary R. Page Pike in Taylor County, Kentucky, in December 1853. Father of James A. Pike, Sarah E. Pike, Mary C. Pike, Samuel H. Pike, John M. Pike, and Lucy J. Pike. Farmer in Adair County in 1850. Served in the 13th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a corporal from December 31, 1861 to January 12, 1865. Wounded at the Battle of Shiloh, Hardin County, Tennessee, on April 7, 1862. Wounded in battle in Tennessee in November 1863.
