Caldwell County, Kentucky, farmhand and soldier. Kentucky native. Farmhand for L. Perry in Caldwell County, Kentucky, in 1860. Served in the 48th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry (U.S.A.) as a private from October 26, 1863, to December 25, 1863. Died of disease while in military service at Princeton on December 25, 1863.
