Farmer in Taylor County in 1860. Justice of the peace in Taylor County in 1862. Served in the 27th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry (U.S.A.) as private from March 21, 1862. Died of heart disease while in military service in Louisville Hospital on November 8, 1862.
