Farmer in Hopkins County, Kentucky, in 1850. Farmer in Marion, Missouri, in 1860. Farmer in Hopkins County, Kentucky, in 1863. Served in the 10th Kentucky Cavalry Regiment (C.S.A.) as private. Reported as deserted on March 13, 1865. Signed a loyalty oath to the U. S. government on April 8, 1865.
