Nance, Isacah S. Nance, Elijah O. Nance, Elisha R. Nance, Minnie B. Nance, and Comodore Nance. Farmer in Hopkins County, Kentucky, in 1860. Resident of Hopkins County in 1863. Served in the 35th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U. S. A.) as a corporal from October 1, 1863, to December 29, 1864.
