Farmer in Caldwell County, Kentucky, in 1850. Owned two enslaved persons in Caldwell County in 1850. Farmer in Long Pond in 1860. Served in the 1st Kentucky Cavalry Regiment (C.S.A.) as a private from November 20, 1861, to December 19, 1862. Signed a loyalty oath to the U. S. government on May 21, 1865.
