Rice, James Thomas Rice, Pernicia F. Rice, Lucy Rice, and Mary A. Rice. Resident of Caldwell County, Kentucky, in 1850. Household owned eighteen enslaved persons in Hopkins County in 1850. Farmer in Princeton in 1860. Owned nine enslaved persons in Princeton in 1860. Enlisted in the 10th Kentucky Cavalry Regiment (C.S.A.) on June 29, 1862. Reported as wounded in November 1862. Farmer in Caldwell County in 1863.
