Prairie City, Illinois, soldier. New York native. Married to Elizabeth A. Willett. Father of Charles Frank Willett, Stephen Paul Willett, and Maude Willett. Resident in Prairie City in 1860. Employed William Willett as a clerk in Prairie City in 1860. Served in the 5th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as private, sergeant major, and second lieutenant from September 9, 1861, to June 12, 1863.
