Anderson County, Kentucky, physician and surgeon. Kentucky native. Son of Thomas Rodgers and Mary Rodgers. Married to Margaret E. Pattie Rodgers in Franklin County, Kentucky, on December 22, 1853. Father of Mary Rogers and Almira Rodgers. Laborer in Scott County, Kentucky, in 1850. Physician in Anderson County in 1860. Served in the 11th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.) as assistant surgeon from September 18, 1862, to January 4, 1863.
