Johnson County, Kentucky, farmer and soldier. Kentucky native. Son of Calvin Walters. Married to Elizabeth Preston Walters in Johnson County on October 11, 1854. Father of Levina Walters, James P. Walters, John M. Walters, and Shadrach Walters. Farmer in Johnson County in 1860. Served in the 65th Regiment Kentucky Enrolled Militia (U.S.A.) as a private from May 21, 1864, to June 21, 1864.
