Clinton County, Kentucky, soldier. Kentucky native. Son of Sandy Morrison and Charity Morrison. Married to Angeline Morrison. Father of Mary D. Morrison, James B. Morrison, and Elzira Morrison. Resident in Hancock County, Kentucky, in 1850. Farmer in Clinton County in 1860. Major in 13th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry in September 1863. Served in 13th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry (U.S.A.) as lieutenant colonel from December 23, 1863 to January 10, 1865.
