Garrard County, Kentucky, clerk and soldier. Kentucky native. Married to Sarah A. Walker Landram in Garrard County, Kentucky, on November 2, 1848. Father of Mary Landram, William W. Landram, Addie E. Landram, Sallie Logan Landram, and Ella B. Landram. Served in the 1st Kentucky Cavalry Regiment as a private from June 9, 1846 to June 8, 1847 in the U.S.-Mexico War. Editor in Garrard County in 1850. Owned one enslaved person in Garrard County in 1850. Clerk in Lancaster, Garrard County, Kentucky, in 1860. Owned one enslaved person in Garrard County in 1860. Clerk of Garrard County Court in 1861. Served in the 19th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a colonel from January 2, 1862, to January 26, 1865. Commanded a brigade in the XIII Corps of the Union army. Subsequently brevetted to Brigadier General of Volunteers.
