Tinsley McCampbell in Shelby County, Kentucky, on September 14, 1865. Constable in Shelby County in 1860. Justice of the Peace in Shelby County in 1861. Served in the 6th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U. S. A.) as a second lieutenant and captain from December 24, 1861, to January 4, 1865.
