Bracken County, Kentucky, deputy sheriff and soldier. Maryland native. Son of John Schoolfield and Eliza Schoolfield. Farmer in Bracken County in 1850. Deputy sheriff in Bracken County. Served Schoolfield’s Battery of Artillery (C.S.A.) as a Lieutenant from 1862 to 1864.
