Captain in the 12th Regiment, U.S. Veteran Reserve Corps from June 1864 to November 1864. Transferred to the 13th Regiment, U.S. Veteran Reserve Corps on November 25, 1864. Brevetted to lieutenant colonel on March 13, 1865.
