Demonstrator of anatomy at Transylvania University. Chair of general and pathological anatomy at Transylvania University from 1847. Editor of the Transylvania Medical Journal from 1849 to 1851. Chair of descriptive anatomy and histology at the Kentucky School of Medicine in Louisville in 1859. Physician in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1860. Chair of surgical anatomy and operative surgery at the Kentucky School of Medicine in Louisville in 1861.
