Augusta, Bracken County, Kentucky, attorney and politician. Kentucky native. Married to Anna Eliza Mackie Marshall in Bracken County on October 11, 1841. Father of Mariah Marshall. Admitted to the bar in 1842. Attorney in Augusta in 1850. County attorney for Bracken County, Kentucky, from 1851 to 1859. Member of the Senate of the Commonwealth of Kentucky from Mason County from 1859 to 1863. Attorney in Augusta in 1860. Owned four enslaved persons in 1860. Delegate to the Democratic Convention in Chicago, Illinois, in 1864.
