Reed, Samuel Reed, John T. Reed, and George W. Reed. Farmer in Mercer County in 1850. Farmhand in Mercer County in 1860. Farmer in Mercer County in 1863. Served in the 4th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a private from March 24, 1864, to August 9, 1865.
