Dear sir:

I desire the appointment as Commissioner of Deeds, &c., for Ky. at this point or in Ohio. My residence is in Covington, but my office is in Cincinnati. The Statues do not require my family residence to be in this city, to make the appointment proper.

I was, for many years, Editor of the "Maysville Eagle;" and refer you, respectfully, to Martin P. Marshall & Harrison Taylor, Esqs., of Mason, and to Jno. F. Fisk, Gen. Jno. W. Finnell, or Robert A. Athey, of Kenton, or Col. A. G. Hodges of Frankfort.

By directing a Commission to be made out & forwarded, you will oblige
