To,, the Honorable James F, Robertson Gov,, of Kentucky your Petitioners would respectfully represent unto,, your honor that at the June Term of the Green circuit court a fine of $50.00 was assessed against Charles, H, Blevins on a charge of carrying consealed deadly weapons, We would respectfully represent unto your honor that the carrying of the Pistol was on a day when several of them was a Rabbit hunting & Blevins carried the pistol for the purpose of shooting Rabbits. & being sick about at the time the trial was had was unable to make defense and hence the fine was assessed, we in view of all the circumstances respectfully petition your honor to remit the fine as Blevins is a poor young man and it would considerably injure him to pay it.
