To all to whom it may concern it is hereby made known that I have this day nominated and appointed and hereby do nominate & appoint Doct Joel S. Price Doct John Walker and John J. Quinn a Sanitary Committee to visit the Soldiers of Kentucky in the Army of the U. S. and to aid & assist in the cure care & comfort of their sick & wounded

~~As such~~ I commend said Committee and each of these as gentlemen loyal to the Government -- worthy of all Confidence and all aid & faculty in the power of all go^od^ men to extend to them
