Your Petitioner would respectfully ask your honour to reprieve her She was Tried and convicted for stealing $12⁵⁰ from the drawer of her neighbours She states that she is but twelve years old and did not know it was felony but knew she done wrong She prays that you Exercise the Power that you possess and grant her reprieve & your Petitioner will ever pray

We the undersigned were on the Jury that found the above named Amanda M Linnell guilty and Say that we sentenced her for the shortest time we could to Wit one year in the Penetentiary, we join cheerfully in the prayer of the Petitioner and recommend the reprieve as she is the only daughter of a poor Ignorant widowed mother --
