This day came the attorney for the Commonwealth and the defendant by attorney entered plea of not guilty and thereupon came a jury to wit R L M^celroy Ben Wheatly J A Jarboe John Biven Frank Ford Felix M^catee H Johnson Leo Beaven George Dunn W H Medley Jos F Douglass Harvey M^celroy who were sworn to try the issue and after hearing the evidence retired and returned int court the following verdict to wit we of the jury find the defendent guilty as charged in the within indictment asses his find to fifty Dollars Jas A Jarboe one of the jury it is therefore adjudged that said defendent make his fine to the Commonwealth of Ky by the payment of Fifty dollars the amount by the jury in their verdict aforesaid assessed and also the costs expended and that he may be taken &c:
