To his Excellency Beriah Magoffon

your petitioner Wiley Cunnagim would respectfully state that a few days sense his children Saraheles Cunnagim Lucuis Cunnagim Jane cunnagim and Clark Cunnagim was find $20. before Mark Suttle a Justice of the peace for Jackson County for an alledged Breach of the peace he States that his children are under age and have nothing to pay with and unless your Exelency remitts said fine he will have the same to pay He firther States that the difficulty came up between his children and the children of one of his neighbors about some geese his neighbors children under took to drive of the geese of your petitaner away from the premises and poseson of the petitioner and his under ^under^ took to prevente it and the difficulty came up between them he states that on the trial the persons who brought up the dificulty war the witnesses and he and his children dos not believe that they stated the case as it was he says the cost he will have to pay will amount to about $10 the payment of which will be an oppression on him that he is a pore man with a Large family and had the misfortune a yeare or or two ago to have his house burnt together with nearly all his furnitur beding & his Smoke house and bacon he thearfore asks your Excelency to release him from the payment of said fine
