The Trustees of Transylvania University and the Curators of Kentucky University having laid before me a copy of the Resolutions adopted by each accepting the Consolidation provided for in "an Act entitled "An Act to establish an Agricultural College in Kentucky" "Approved February 22^nd 1865" and each of said Universities having by said Resolutions laid before ^me^ assented to and accepted all the provisiions of said "Act"

Therefore, I Thomas E Bramlette Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky prusuant to the provisions of said Act do hereby authorize and empower the Curators of the Kentucky University to organize the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Kentucky in pursuance to the provision of said "Act -- "

In testimony whereof I have caused the seal of the Commonwealth to be hereto affixed -- this 28^th day of June, 1865 -- and seventy fourth year of the Commonwealth: ^done^ at the City of Frankfort.
