I have the honor to request from you the appointment of myself as Commissioner for the State of Kentucky to reside in Baltimore, Maryland, to take Depositions, Acknowledgment of Deeds, &c. and respectfully refer to the accompanying testimonials. My address is 70 W. Fayette St. Baltimore, Md.

Mr. Hill is a Lawyer of good standing in his profession, and has held the office of Secretary of State, in Maryland. for the last four years. from which he now retires by reason of expiration of his term.
