Henry Weindell has served during the past year, in my office, as Property Clerk.

Of my own knowledge he is competent in that capacity, and entirely trustworthy in every respect.

He also served in the Field, during the first two years of the Late Rebellion, with credit to himself and satisfaction to his superior officers.

New duties render it necessary that I should have to a Commissioned Notary in my office, and I trust, His Excellency, Thos. E. Bramlett, Gov. of Kentucky, may be pleased to grant to Mr. Weindell his petition.
