I Dexter B Hodges being duly sworn saith that on or about the 17 day of April A D 1863, at Clarke Station in the said Conty and state aforesaid One Esther Ritche alias Maty Clarke alias Fany Barton did there and then unlawfully, and Feloneousley take steal and cary away 3 three united states tresury notes to the value of ten dollars each and [...] to the value of 5 Dolers, als 1 lot of [writen] [appeals] ^to the value of 50 Dollrs^ all the Goods and Chatles of this affavidt contra to the statue in such cases made and provided and that this affadiant further belives that the said Ester Ritche alias Maty Clarke alias Fany Barton is now in Louisville Kentucy and escaped from Justice and further prays that Your Exly Gov O. P. Morton will isue his rqustion upon the Gov of Knetacy to deliver to the agent you may apoint the said Esthr Richr alias Maty Clarke alias Fany Barton to be return to Justice in the County and state aforsaid all of which is true as affidavit [verey] beleve.
