vs.
W^m Clemons and Pinckney Clemons }

The Grand Jury of Livingston County in the name and by the authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky accuse W^m Clemons and Pinckney Clemons of the crime of shooting & stabbing James Bozeman with intent to Kill committed as follows. to-wit the said William Clemons and Pinckney Clemons on the 25^th day of December 1861. in the County Aforesaid went to the house of James Bozeman and then and there did assault & beat the said Bozeman and then and there did willfully & maliciously shoot and wound said Bozeman and cut and stab him so that of sd wounds inflicted by shooting with a gun and cutting with a Knife both of which were deadly weapons he was in great danger of his life but of s^d wounds. he did not die and other great wrongs then and there did assault the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
