The Grand Jury of Christian County in the name and by the authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: accuse Richard Wilty of the offense of Keeping a tippling house Committed as follows viz: the said Richard Wilty did on the 10' day of January 1863 and on divers days since in the county aforesaid did Keep a tippling House against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky

And afterward To wit on the 26' day of September 1863 at a court continued and held for the Christian Circuit

"The Comths atty. appeared and the Defendant also appeared by his atty -- and says he is not guilty as charged in the indictment, and the following Jury was sworn to try the issue. To wit J N Saddler Pink Sherrill D R Beard
A J King Jno Pyle A Palmer W P Hopkins Isaac Medley Jno Stites James A Radford & Chas Bradshaw & J N Stuart and the evidence being heard the Jury returned the following verdict To Wit: We of the Jury find the Defendant guilty Jno Stiles Foreman It is therefore considered by the Court that the Defendant is guilty as charged in the indictment and that he make to the Commonwealth his fine for said offense by the payment of Sixty Dollars and that he also pay the Costs of this Prosecution
