Indictment
July Term 1865

The Jurors of the Grand Jury empanelled and sworn to equire in and for the City of Louisville in the name and by Authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky on their oaths accuse E. H. Williams and J. E. Russell of the offense of managing a lottery for money and that they did in said City and State on the day of July 1865, dispose of personal property of value for money and gain by way of lottery and that the said Willimas and Russell, at the said time and place, and in the disposal of said property by way of Lottery, were partners, all of which is against the Statute in such case made, and against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
