November 21^st 1864
Pleas before Hon. W. C. Goodloe, Judge

"Commonwealth of Ky. Plaintiff
against (X. Indict. no 334) Forfeited Bail Bond
William H. Salyers Defendant

This day came the parties by their attorneys, and the defendant filed his answer, to which plaintiff ^demurred^; -- and the questions of law arising therein being heard; it is the opinion of the court that the answer is insufficient, and that the demurrer be sustained. The Defendant saying nothing further therein, & the Court being fully advised orders and adjudges that the plaintiff recover ~~recover~~ of said defendant, William H Salyers, One Hundred Dollars, the amount of his bail bond, with interest thereon at the rate of six per centum per annum from the 21^st day of November 1864, until paid, and her costs herein expended -- To which Judgment Defendant excepts."

"The Commonwealth of Kentucky
To the Sheriff of Scott County, Greeting:
<< Execution >
We command you that of the estate of William H Salyers, late of your bailiwick, you cause to be made the sum of One Hundred Dollars, which the Commonwealth of Kentucky, late in our Scott Circuit Court hath recovered against him for Debt, with interest therein at the rate of six per cent. per annum, from the 21^st day of November 1864, until paid: also the sum of $5 ⁴⁵/₁₀₀ which to the said Commonwealth of Kentucky, in said Court were adjudged for her costs in that suit expended, whereof the s^d Salyers is convicted, as appears to us of record; and that you have the same before said Court on the 30^th day in January 1865 to render to the said Commonwealth the debt, interest and costs aforesaid; and have then and there this writ.

Witness John W. Holloway, clerk of said Court, this 1^st day of December 1864, and in the 73^d year of the Commonwealth
