R. Sullivan Deft

The defendant R. Sullivan having been duly summoned and failing to answer and on motion of the attorney for the Commonwealth It is adjudged by the court that the Commonwealth recover of the said defendant the sum of One thousand dollars that being the amount in which he acknowledged himself indebted to the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the appearance of James W. Sullivan in this court on the 2^d day of its last May term and that he pay the costs of this summons --

This day came the atty for the Comlth and the defendant having been duly summoned and failing to answer. It is adjudged by the Court that the Commonwealth of Kentucky recover of the defendant R. Sulllivan the sum of One thousand dollars that being the amount in which he acknowledged himself indebted to the Commonwealth of Ky, as the surity in his bail bond dayted the 23^d Feby 1864, for the appearance of James W. Sullivan in this Court on the 2^d day of its last May term that he also pay the costs herein --

Sullivan the sum of one thousand dollars that being the amount of his forfeited bail bond dated 23^d day of Feby 1864, for the appearance of James W. Sullivan in this Court on the 2^d day of its last May term & that he also pay the costs herein &c --

dollars that being the amount of his forfeited bail bond as the surety of James W. Sullivan for the appearance of the said James W. Sullivan in this court on the 2^d day of its last May term and that he also pay the costs herein &c --

No 1. James W. Sullivan being in custody charged with the offense of forgery, and being admitted to bail in the sum of one thousand dollars: Now I Raughley Sullivan of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, having undertaken that the above named James W. Sullivan will appear in the Muhlenberg Circuit Court on the 2^d day of its next May term to answer said charge, and will at all times render himself amenable to the orders and process of said Court in the prosecution of said Charge; and, if Convicted, will render himself in execution thereof; or if he shall fail to perform either of these conditions, that I will pay the Commonwealth of Kentucky the sum of one thousand dollars --

Witness my hand this 23^d day of February 1864.

Sullivan will appear in the Muhlenberg Circuit Court on the second day of its next May term, to answer said charge, and will
