The Commonwealth of Kentucky
To the Sheriff of Jefferson County
Greeting:

We command you to take John H. Caldwell, if he be found within your bailiwick, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before the Judge of the Lincoln Circuit Court, at the rules to be held in the clerk's office of said court, in the town of Stanford, on the fourth monday in June next, to satisfy the Commonwealth of Kentucky the sum of $500⁰⁰/₁₀₀ gor a fine imposed on him, at the March term, 1861 for Permitting Faro Bank.

Also the sum of $5²⁵/₁₀₀ which was adjudged to the said Commonwealth aforesaid, for her costs, in that behalf expended; and have then there this writ.

The Commonealth of Kentucky
To the Sheriff of Jefferson County --
Greeting:

We command you that of the estate
of John H. Caldwell & J. W. Guest, late of your bailiwick, you cause to be made the sum of $514.17¢ with interest thereon at the rate of 6 percent. per annum, from the 1^st day of July 1859 until paid, which The Commonwealth late in the Lincoln Circuit Court, recovered against them for debt due on R. bond also the sum of $2⁰⁰ which to said Commonwealth was adjudged for her costs in that behalf expended whereof the said John H. Caldwell & J. W. Guest are convicted as appears to us of record; and that you have said sums of money before the Judge of our said Court, at his office, in Stanford on the 4^th Monday June next to render to said Commonwealth, the debt, interest, and costs aforesaid; and have then there this writ.
