Chief supply officer of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Civil War-era quartermaster generals: M. D. West, W. A. Dudley (October 3,1861-October 30, 1862), James F. Robinson, Jr. (December 2, 1862-August 31, 1863), Samuel G. Suddarth (September 1, 1863-January 13, 1866). Civil War-era assistant quartermaster generals: Henry J. Lyons (June 1861) and John E. Murrah (September 1865).
