GOVERNOR OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY,
TO ALL WHO SHALL SEE THESE PRESENTS, GREETING:

WHEREAS, judgment has been rendered by the Franklin Circuit Court for $50. against Newton Dean —

AND WHEREAS, It appears from satisfactory evidence that the case of the said N Dean presents strong considerations for the interposition and indulgence of the Executive:

Now, Know Ye, That in consideration of the premises, and by virtue of the power vested in me by the Constitution, I have thought proper to REMIT, and do, by these presents, remit said judgment except five Dollars and do hereby forever acquit, release, and discharge the said Newton Dean — from the same, enjoining all officers to respect this REMISSION, and govern themselves accordingly.

In Testimoney Whereof, I have caused these letters to be made patent, and the Seal of the Commonwealth to be hereunto affixed. Done at FRANKFORT, the 5th day of Mar, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and 63, and in the 71st year of the Commonwealth.
