GOVERNOR OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY,
TO ALL WHO SHALL SEE THESE PRESENTS, GREETING:
WHEREAS, judgment has been rendered by the Franklin Circuit Court for $50. against Newton Dean โ
AND WHEREAS, It appears from satisfactory evidence that the case of the said N Dean presents strong considerations for the interposition and indulgence of the Executive:
Now, Know Ye, That in consideration of the premises, and by virtue of the power vested in me by the Constitution, I have thought proper to REMIT, and do, by these presents, remit said judgment except five Dollars and do hereby forever acquit, release, and discharge the said Newton Dean โ from the same, enjoining all officers to respect this REMISSION, and govern themselves accordingly.
In Testimoney Whereof, I have caused these letters to be made patent, and the Seal of the Commonwealth to be hereunto affixed. Done at FRANKFORT, the
