I, John G. Douglass, residing in the City of Cincinnati, County of Hamilton and State of Ohio appointed by the Governor of the State of Kentucky a Commissioner for the State of Ohio to take the proof and acknowledgment of deeds and other instruments &c pursuant to an act of the Legislature of the said State, entitled "An act to adopt the Revised Statutes" Approved January 7" 1852, do solemnly swear that I will well and truly and faithfully execute and perform all the duties of such commissioner under and by virtue of the laws of Kentucky.
