Be it Remembered.
And it is hereby certified that on the twenty seventy day of April Eighteen hundred and sixty four, before me the subscriber, a clerk of the Superior Court of Baltimore City in the State of Maryland, personally appeared Henry Howard Burgess, Commissioner for the State of Kentucky in the State of Maryland, and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that he will well and faithfully discharge all the duties of such commissioner according to the laws of the State of Kentucky. —
