This is an application for the appointment of Commissioner of Deeds &c for the State of Kentucky
I am the son of the Rev. Dr. Colver of Chicago Illinois
I can refer to U. S. Senator Harris of this State and to the Hon. Judge Clerk of the Supreme Court of this State. Whose certificate or rather a certified copy thereof I enclose I have been a member of the Bar
over six years. and I am ready to furnish any number of reference you may require and also to furnish the usual clerk for in such cases.
By giving this application an early attention you will do me a great favor for I have been appointed commission for most of the State and I require them all to make them available
